A passion for greek and latin texts passed down from his father, an amateur archaeologist,
and initiated to the art of writing by the great German playwrighter and poet Heiner Müller,
Dominik Barbier accompanies his creations with his own scripts, original and inspired by antiquity.
Respected and carefully treated as a graphic element, writing is at the heart of his production.
